Experienced Veterinary Technician (RVT,CVT,LVT) & Veterinary Assistant - Full Time 

We have an immediate opening for a full-time experienced veterinary assistant and Registered Veterinary Technician to join our high quality, multi-doctor, full-service general practice animal hospital for cats and dogs. Serviced provided are medical and preventative care, grooming, boarding, surgery, acupuncture, cold laser therapy, and COHAT. We are dedicated to providing excellent medical care to our patients and customer service to our clients. Our hospital is a walk-in based practice for out-patients.

Candidates must have experience in the following areas (at least 1 year of experience): obtaining medical history, collecting patient vitals, surgical assistance (RVT), pharmacy duties, in-house laboratory diagnostics, radiology, dental cleaning and dental radiographs (RVT), monitoring of hospitalized patients, inducing and maintaining anesthetized patients (RVT), IV catheter placement, sample collection, administering medications, client education, animal restraint techniques, and handling of medical records. Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team. Work schedule includes weekdays, some evenings and Saturdays. Pay will be based on skill set and experience. We use Avimark software.

We are looking for someone to join our front desk staff who is energetic, compassionate & caring about animals, and team oriented. Applicant must possess superb communication skills, excellent at multitasking, be reliable, and have a strong work ethic.
Since we are a busy small animal general hospital that is steadily growing, applicants MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE and are quick to learn our protocols. Basic computer skills are required, and experience with Avimark software is preferred not necessary.
Work days would be Monday - Friday and some Saturdays. We are currently not open on Saturdays due to COVID but this will change in the future.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Answering phone calls
Greeting clients and patients to see how to meet their needs and requests
Checking in and checking out clients
Making patient appointments and boarding reservations
Taking payment for services rendered
Proper handling of medical records
Stocking products
Making sure the lobby, front desk, and public restroom are clean and orderly.
